The Apple Ipad was officially launched in Israel on Tuesday December 21st, long after Apple launched the product globally. Though the Ipad began its distribution in Israel about four months ago by independent importers, the prices were significantly high than the official price, which led to very small amount of buyers. In preparation towards the official launch, prices began to drop further and further till it reached approximately 30% less of the original price. The IPad will be sold exclusively though apple's Israeli representatives IDigital, which means that there will be no WiFi version of the product available.
