Israeli soccer team defeated Iceland by 3:2 on an International Friendly. The game took place on Wednesday November 17th at the Bloomfield National Stadium in Ramat- Gan. The group of players was assembled by the head coach of the national soccer team, Luis Fernández and as soon as they hit the field they scored three consecutive goals. The first two were carried out by new incoming player Omer Damari. Iceland in return, managed to catch up with its own two consecutive goals during the second half of the game. After the match, Fernández stated that: "Iceland is not a bad team. We played a good game and the main thing is winning".
