The 26th international Film Festival is about to open in Haifa on 23rd September and is expected to draw thousands of visitors from Israel and also many from abroad. The new film from director Steven Frears Tamara Drew will open the festival which will show around 130 new films from 40 participating countries. Among the films showing at the festival held during the hol hamoed sukkot festival in Israel are four restoration movies by director john Euston from the movie The African Queen. There will be a variety of films, comedy, dark and serious movies for a wide audience to enjoy, so for film lovers in Israel, its time stock up om popcorn and head north to Haifa.
