A Bollywood movie that chronicles the childhood of Jesus will be shot in Jerusalem in an ambitious project expected to be one of India's most expensive ever movies. Bollywood director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and producer Konda Krishnam Raju announced their plans for a US$30 million feature film examining the childhood of Jesus. According to the CBC, the film will be shot over the next few months in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. The 78-year old director told the Israeli press that he wanted the biopic -- which will feature a cast of Indian children playing all the roles (including the adults) and be narrated in four languages -- to depict "the message of love and peace." India has a relatively tiny Christian population of 24 million. However, Christian festival, such as Christmas are widely celebrated among the country's large Hindu majority.
