It's class out and time to head for the beach for some 623,000 students from senior schools in Israel who have officially started their summer holidays. The holidays will last a whopping two months and ten days. An additional 70,000 teachers are also able to breathe freely now term has ended. On the 1st of July, another 884,000 students will also begin their holidays as the country's primary school term draw to a close. The biggest number of students are those studying at Israel's state run schools where 319,000 students learn, the state reigious run education is the next largest group with more than 85,000 students.
