The grandiose new Bridge of Strings at the entrance to the city of Jerusalem is set to be inaugurated on Wednesday night, amid much controversy and criticism. While many Jerusalem residents believe that the bridge is a tastleless and extravagant waste of money, city officials argue that it is new landmark for the city and a remarkable achievement for the State of Israel.
