The effects of the Winograd Report are really now just being felt. The commission's findings ultimately give the Prime Minister an extension of his term, as blame for the the 2006 Lebanon War's failure is spread across the Government. Among those blamed are former Defense Minister Amir Peretz. In reponse, he told reporters today that he inherited problems in the military that had not been addressed by his predecesors. The Commission said not having an exit strategy was among the greater failures of the War. The lack of an exit strategy wasn't the only problem of the war.
