Matopeni: Easing flooding in the wet season

Until recently, each time heavy rain fell in Nairobi, Matopeni slum would flood with water carrying waste into people's homes. Although the water level still rises during the rainy season, since the community constructed drains with support from Christian Aid partner Maji na Ufanisi (MNU), much of the water is now carried away meaning homes no longer become flooded. In this short film, MNU share feedback from the community. For more information on the project visit http://www.christianaid.org.uk/whatwedo/matopeni-slum-project/index.aspx
