K-pop concert rocks Seoul

A K-pop concert sweeps up fans in South Korea.
The event is the launch of four new cable television stations.
But the real attention-grabber is the music.
SHINee, one of the youngest male pop groups, kicks off the party.
Fans, like American Stephen Cavara, explain why K-pop is so appealing.
SOUNDBITE: Stephen Cavara, K-pop fan, saying (English):
"Really good dancing and a lot of emotion. Good video's a lot of meaning, so even if I don't understand all speaking, good messages."
The term "K-Pop," an acronym for "Korean pop", developed in the mid-1990s, when Korean pop groups started to win over Chinese audiences.
Now the trend has spread beyond Asia and into Europe and the U.S.
Swedish fan Johanna called the music clever and catchy.
SOUNDBITE: Johanna, K-pop fan, saying (English):
"It is intelligent in the same like it connect catchiness and intelligent I think. And it's modern and I like K-pop."
The four member girl group, Miss A, kept the crowd grooving with its hit "Good Bye Baby".
Then, to the delight of Chinese fan Sun Ziao Fan, global superstars, Girls Generation, hit the stage.
SOUNDBITE: Sun Ziao Fan, saying, (Chinese):
"I am here because I like Girls Generation. I love Girls Generation. I love K-Pops."
With the popularity of K-pop music growing, Billboard has even launched the K-Pop Hot 100 chart.
