Runners from around the country gathered at the Orange Beach Sportsplex before taking off on the Half-Marathon, 5K Run and 1 mile Fun Run during the Kaiser Realty Coastal Half Marathon and 5K.
The half-marathon course is a fun mix of paved trail through the Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Gulf State Park "back-country" along with stretches on the Gulf State Park main drive - all but about 3 miles is on the beautiful, back-country paved trail system.
All courses are USATF certified courses beginning and finishing at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
