Now onto Melbourne Australia, the Spring Racing Carnival is famous for attracting hundreds of thousands lured by the excitement of horse racing. Another spectacle of the carnival is the Crown Oaks Day, it's a day where the ladies and their fashions truly shine, I was lucky enough to be there.
We're here at Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse amidst the festivities of the Spring Racing Carnival. and today is "Crown Oaks Day" when the ladies take centre stage, let's go and have some fun.
It's an outdoor fashion showing of grand proportions, with something for all to see and be inspired by. And of the stars in attendance few capture hearts and attention better than Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker, certainly a crowd favourite.
[Shana, Student]:
"It's always good when you can get a sneak peek of them ... It's all about the fashion and the races, and I think just having a good time."
[Belinda, Student]:
"It's about getting out having fun, dressing up and just looking fabulous."
Looking fabulous comes easily for international model Ashley Hart, she also knows a thing or two about fashion.
[Ashley Hart, International Model]:
"This season and spring it's all about color, so I'm really excited to be seeing pop colors of flock, pop colors, and I've got it on my lips because I couldn't put it on my outfit today, so I put it on my lips. But in general the feel is just glamourous."
With so many pretty girls in the one place, the boys aren't complaining, they're having...
