Earth's Population Reaches 7 Billion

United Nations mathematicians say 7 billion people are now on Earth. Because the birth rate now considerably exceeds the death rate, the planet's population is soaring. It took more than a hundred years to go from 1-2 billion during the 19th Century. The last billion popped in just 12 years. Tim Minton adds it all up.
