Plumb - In My Arms

A beautiful song by Plumb. It's sung in the first person, and it's ambiguous who "I" represents. It could easily be interpreted as a parent. In fact, I believe Plumb wrote this primarily for her child. I chose to interpret it also as a different parent, our loving Heavenly Father. Plumb is a Christian artist, and I feel like her intention was to draw a parallel between a mother's love for her child and God's love for His children. Sort of a dual-purpose theme. The song is well-crafted enough to make that concept work. Thank You God for wrapping us in Your almighty arms.
