THE LIFE OF RILEY

Groucho tried it on radio and, before Ralph Kramden, Gleason on TV in the late 40's. it took the lovable mugging of William Bendix to play the definitive Chester A. Riley in the 50's on CBS and later in syndication, assisted by Marjorie Reynolds as wife, Peg, Lugene Sanders as daughter, Babs, Wesley Morgan as son, Junior and Tom D'Andrea as chum Gillis. A favorite at Carlson International's Oldies Television
