Lefty Mom Uses Child To Ambush Rick Perry, “Ask Him Why He Doesn’t Believe In Science”…
An ABC camera catches a well-coached child asking Rick Perry how old the earth is.
This is a trap: His mother, who can be heard on camera coaching him, is obviously hoping he’ll cite some specific, Biblical figure. Instead, Perry gives what sounds like a secular answer, with no reference to biblical certainty:
“I don’t have any idea. I know it’s pretty old. It goes back a long long way,” Perry says. “I’m not sure anybody knows completely and absolutely….”
The kid’s next question is on evolution:
“It’s a theory that is out there and it’s got some gaps in it. In Texas we teach both creationism and evolution in the public schools,” he said.
The mother can then be heard saying, ”Ask him why he doesn’t believe in science,” but at this point Perry has figured it out and moves on.
