Les professeurs sont souvent confrontés à un problème récurrent: utiliser un Powerpoint ou écrire directement sur le tableau. Powerpoint est moins flexible, mais permet une sauvegarde et une simplicité de partage. Au contraire, écrire directement sur le tableau est un geste simple et naturel, mais tout est perdu lorsqu’on efface le tableau.
Whiteboard 2.0 est un tableau interactif à bas coût visant les étudiants et leurs professeurs. Le projet combine l’efficacité d’un tableau blanc avec les avantages d’un affichage numérique : avec Whiteboard 2.0, l’utilisateur peut profiter d’une écriture fluide. Pas besoin d’effacer le tableau : tout est enregistré sur un Powerpoint et peut-être chargé sur Google Docs. Les professeurs peuvent partager leurs cours facilement.

Whiteboard 2.0 is a low-cost interactive whiteboard targeting teachers and students. It combines the effectiveness of a regular whiteboard to the advantages of a numeric display: with Whiteboard 2.0, the user is able to enjoy a fluid and smooth writing experience. No need to erase the board: everything is saved as Powerpoint slides and can be uploaded to Google Docs. Teachers can share their lectures and tutorial very easily.
