Marion Mueller (AEMP), in collaboration with the GoldMoney Foundation, visits the Bundesbank's Geldmuseum (Money Museum) in Frankfurt and talks about copper money in Sweden. How supply and demand are as important for money as for any other good and the abundance of copper in Sweden made it a very unsuitable form of money, which was quickly devalued wiping out savings. It started surreptitiously, with debasement of silver coins by mixing them with copper, but soon evolved to pure copper coinage. As usual, both political motivation and war financing played a role in this inflationary episode.
