This was another team project. After doing some research about the company and our initial conversation I gave them this concept. In order to execute this we brought on our designer Yasmin to create the additional assets. This was an earlier addition. The longer approved addition gave a little more time at the start of the animation.
Technical: Sometimes it is easier to animate backwards. Utilizing masks that change over time I worked backwards from the H & Q shapes to form the road and magnifying glass. I quickly animated the characters by rotating the arms and legs over time. The distortion from the magnifying glass was accomplished using the “bulge” effect.
