And finallly... as Kung Fu Panda 2 hit theaters this past weekend, the movie's production designer headed to China to catch a glimpse of the real thing. Here's that story.

The sequel to the hit animated film "Kung Fu Panda" hit theaters this past weekend. And while audiences in West were marveling at the panda on screen, production designer for the film Raymond Zibach headed east to admire the real thing.

[Raymond Zibach, Production Designer, "Kung Fu Panda 2"]:
"I was hoping that after the first film, if I did it correctly, people would want to, if they could, come to China and experience it for themselves."

Here in China's Sichuan province, pandas make their home. But Mr. Zibach soon discovered that a real panda is more interested in bamboo than kung fu (make sure you emphasize the rhyme when narrating!)

On his tour, Mr. Zibach got to see streets like this one — that parts of the movie were modeled after.

He also did a bit of taichi and kung fu — and even got to sample some of region's famous spicy food.

But like the Giant Pandas of the Sichuan Valley, the traditional culture of China is rapidly disappearing with the encroachment of the modern world. Mr. Zibach hopes that the Kung Fu Panda movies will spark people's interest in this fascinating culture.
