In 1964 Chrysler presented the Chrysler Turbine. The concept wasn't new Rover had produced one in the 1950's. However it wasn't as refined as Chrysler nor did it have the looks. It was inspired by the Ford Thunderbird. The jet engine was unique. http://www.thedrivechannel.com
