Rotary Club Members Enjoy Shen Yun in Canberra, Australia

The New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts has just wrapped up a two show run in the Australian capital of Canberra. Shen Yun is the world's premier classical Chinese music and dance company. NTD is a media sponsor for the show for many of the cities the show travels to.

Shen Yun Performing Arts' final show in Australia was well received by audience members at the Canberra Theatre Wednesday evening.

[Gary Scott, President, Rotary Club in Canberra]:
"Well I think we see China has a very rich culture and think it is fantastic to see the cultural side of China. It's not something I have seen before, so I would say to people there's parts of China and aspects of their culture that we need to find out about."

His wife, Pat, enjoyed the dances.

[Pat Schmidt, Audience Member]:
"Wonderful, it is full of energy and so athletic this men and women, it is fabulous."

[Rob Woolley, Rotary Club of Canberra]:
"Very impressed with it. The whole standard of it is excellent. Every aspect of it really impresses me. The orchestra is brilliant, the choreography is great, the singers. I particularly enjoyed the male singer, he was wonderful."

"I would say it was a fantastic show with wonderful dance, choreography, energy, music, everything is wonderful... I think the cultural value is wonderful for Australia, just to understand the culture of China, history of China."
