From the end of next month, it will be permanent summertime in Russia. President Dmitri Medvedev says daylight saving, as it is known, has too many adverse effects and the clocks will no longer go back or forwards. It is the second time Medvedev has tried to control time, having already cut the timezones in Russia from 11 to 9. http://www.euronews.net/
