'Lift #2’, 1999 (duo-projection image/sound : 8"loop)
An elevator is moving up. The light is switched on every floor. Every time the elevator reaches another floor you can hear a sharp metallic sound.
An anonymous person is running down the stairs and trying to catch up with the elevator, again and again, from floor to floor. The picture is static and you get the impression that the floors slide up, like a tape running through a projector. You can hear someone running around the elevator shaft.
