Nigel Havers storms off I'm a Celebrity

59-year-old actor Nigel Havers has quit ITV1's reality TV show I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

The veteran thespian intially refused to take part in a challenge in which contestants were punished with electric shocks.

"I don't do that", he said. "So I'm leaving, ok? Because I don't do electric shocks".

He then proceeded to storm off the set, uttering the immortal line, "Get me out of here now!"

The remaining contestants were shocked at his outburst, but not surprised that he is leaving, noting that he was "near cracking" anyway.

Comedian Dom Joly quipped "Nigel doesn't do electric. He's acoustic."

Nigel did return to the camp to take part in the challenge after being convinced by crew members, but he has since decided to leave the show for good.
