A cat in the United States has shown no fear after facing up to not just one.....but two alligators.
A video posted on YouTube shows the plucky pussy standing firm as the first reptile comes out of the water.
It takes a swipe at the alligator which after a few moments decides to retreat into the water.
The moggy doesn't look intimidated when it returns with back-up.
After a couple of minutes the standoff ends peacefully on both sides.
The video shows at least one adult and child watching the event unfold.
