The Citadel of Ashdod is also known as "Kal'at Al Mina" in Arabian and as Ashdod Yam Citadel. It is an Iron Age archaeological site on the Mediterranean coast of Israel in southern part of the modern city of Ashdod. The site was excavated by Jacob Kaplan from 1965 to 1968.
