The Inbetweeners discuss their movie

The four stars of The Inbetweeners say the film may take longer to hit cinemas, as it takes them such a long time to do their takes.

The film, which will follow the group of friends on holiday in Malia, Crete, is said to be released in Spring / Summer 2011 but the cast members, who play the foul-mouthed teenage boys, say it may be longer as they often use up a lot of takes when filming.

Joe Thomas, who plays Simon Cooper, said: "We are quite slow. It's not a very well-oiled machine, it's a bit of a stuttering machine."

The four young men also gave their comments on Robbie Williams' return to Take That.

James Buckley said: "If Robbie and Gary can make things right again, then surely all the other problems in the world (can be reolved)."

The cast of The Inbetweeners atteneded the Variety Club Showbiz Awards, where they scooped the comedy prize.
