They may be current stars of the sporting world, but some of the Premier League's elite got to meet their hero this week.

Nine-time Olympic champion Carl Lewis was in London on Monday for the reopening of Nike Town alongside Didier Drogba, Ashley Cole, Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas.

Drogba told the audience: 'Carl was my hero growing up.'

The 49-year-old spoke to us about life after retiring from top-level sport and gave us insight into the moment he chose to move from concentrating on the long jump to training for the 100 metres, 200m and sprint relay as well.

It was decision that was to make him an Olympic legend.

It seems the American has only one regret in his career, saying: "I wish I had made a 100 million more dollars."
