Every time British animator Simon Tofield tried to get some work done at home, one of his cats would always put him off. They would constantly be purring, jumping on his lap or lying on his computer keyboard. But rather than let it distract him, it gave the illustrator an idea, and the internet phenomenon Simon’s Cat was born.
