Every day brings new challenges for Zainabu with nine children to look after. The pressure of coping with life in a remote community in Sierra Leone, and an ever expanding family, has led her to consider a life-changing choice: a permanent form of contraception. Through her story, we learn about the differing values held within her community relating to the size of families and the use of modern contraceptives. Zainabu’s decision forces her to face one of the biggest taboos in her community. What will she decide?
