Venice, Italy travel: St. Mark's Square feeding pigeons, part 2. The Perillo tour guide book doesn't mention how much fun this activity can be. Wikipedia has a sense of humor, defining St. Mark's Square in Venice as "...the central landmark and gathering place for Venice, Piazza San Marco is extremely popular with tourists, photographers, and pigeons." Ya think?
