The newly reformed Take That have made their first public appearance with Robbie Williams giving his biggest hint yet that he will stay with the band for the forseeable future.

The group attended the Q Awards, where they were presented with the Hall of Fame prize.

On-stage, Robbie said: "Very happy to be back. First day and we've won an award."

"I'd like to thank my boys. Extremely happy here. Looking forward to the next few years," he added.

Florence And The Machine star Florence Welch was another big winner. She bagged two prizes - Best Female and Best Track for You've Got The Love.

Kasabian were named Best Act In The World, Plan B won Breakthrough Artist and Paolo Nutini won Best Male.

Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry was named the Q icon, reunited indie guitar band Suede picked up the Q inspiration award and Crowded House star Neil Finn was awarded the Classic Songwriter prize.
