A Simple Job. Film created for the 48 hour film festival in Utrecht where we had to create an entire short from script to delivery in just a week-end.
We are requested to create a "Buddy film" with the following components:
- A goldfish
- The line "the summer is over"
- Character Kirsten Neumann, a haiku poet
This film has slightly modified credits compared to the original entry at the festival. The rest remains as it was delivered.
Plot: Two foreigners in need for money offer themselves to do a simple job for a local mobster. Their limitations on the English language will lead them clueless to the task they must perform.
