London, UK - Shorts International will release the hotly anticipated short movie The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers on September 21 featuring The Young Victoria star, Rupert Friend alongside the Oscar-nominated actress, Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean, Never Let Me Go). The pair has not appeared on screen together since Pride and Prejudice.
The movie, written by Friend and Tom Mison (who also stars), is a sinister fairytale depicting the lives of two brothers and their daily suicide attempts. Employing a mesmerising mix of live action and CGI, directors The Brownlee Brothers have created an enchanting world, recalling the dynamic worlds of The Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Anderson.
The release follows the July success of The Summer House starring Robert Pattinson that debuted at Number One on iTunes in total movie sales for the USA, UK, Canada, Germany and Ireland.
