Curtis Haynes, Jr. was appointed to the Common Council on January 14, 2010. His priorities are to ensure quality constituent services for both the residential and business economic development with an emphasis on generating jobs,and to strengthen Ellicott neighborhoods Haynes, an Associate Professor of Economics at Buffalo State College, was named Instructor of the Year in 1999, 2000 and 2006 by the Buffalo State College Student Government.
