A group of students at a private school in northeasten Thailand and their parents have filed charges against a teacher who punished students with a cane.
In a video clip captured on the mobile phone of one of the pupils, a teacher at St Mary's College in Nakhon Ratchasima province, is seen using a cane alledgedly coiled with electricity wire to wip the students' bottoms.
Representatives from the school say they are leaving it up to the police to proceed with the investigation.
