Workers in a part of central London may have had a bit of a surprise if they looked up to the skies this week.

A number of people have been hanging off the Lloyds Building in Lime Street.

But those fearing the worst may like to know that it was a team of experts complete with safety equipment and harnesses.

It was part of filming on Monday for Climbing Great Buildings which is produced by ITN Productions.

Architectural historian Dr Jonathan Foyle has been getting close to Britain's most iconic structures. It is no mean feat as he has never climbed before.

The series is being broadcast on weekday evenings at 6.30pm on BBC2, starting on 6th September.
