Dr. Newsom is a native of Valparaiso, Indiana. He graduated from Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL with honors.

Dr. Newsom also completed extensive foot & ankle surgical training at the Miami VA and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL.

Dr. Newsom has advanced training in nerve disorders of the foot & leg. He is also a certified wound care specialist.
