Local corporator Adolf D’souza has dashed off letters concerning the restobar Hungamma at 12th street in the JVPD scheme to the local authorities. “The area that this pub uses is meant to be a consumer society for the good of those who live in the area but is now a restobar. Only recently at a hearing with the local ward officers, we raised the point about how the restaurant had erected sheds for the monsoon. We’ve sent off letters to look into the running of this place but nothing has happened so far,” said D’souza.
