Katie Price has been quoted as saying that her ex-husband Peter Andre is "milking" their divorce.

In an interview with the Sun, the newspaper claims the businesswoman said:

"I'm not going to lie and say it's been easy. If I'm pictured with the kids out it's, 'She's using the kids', if I'm not pictured with the kids it's, 'She's never with the kids'."

Katie apparently went on: "There is one person who should have defended me and hasn't and has milked it all the way - Pete. All he had to say was, 'She's the mother of my kids, leave her alone, she doesn't deserve this'. Instead he's milked it and that's really hurtful."

Katie, formerly known as Jordan, recently married cagefighter Alex Reid and their three-part TV series documenting their hen and stag parties, the wedding itself and their honeymoon has started on ITV2.

In the newspaper interview, the 32-year-old also says that her new husband is encouraging her to show her softer side but that she cannot let her guard down as she is too used to having to defend herself.
