Ku-J is a very talented reggae/dancehall artist born December 24th 1988 on the beautiful tiny island in the Caribbean known as St. Maarten. Ku-J got introduced to music at the age of five when his father bought him a keyboard for his fifth birthday. His father thought him the basics and from there Ku-J made music his life.

He started gracing the stage at the age of twelve as the keyboard player for his fathers band which he has now taken over "The Freedom Fighters" for various concerts as opening acts for artist such as Luciano, Sanjay, I-wayne, Fantan Mojah, Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, Gyptian, Sean Paul, Jah Cure, Elephant man, Israel Vibration, Lloyd banks and many, many more. He later started singing, composing and song writing and came out with his first CD in 2004 called "What It Is" and got his first hit single "pretty lady" then he did another CD in 2006 called "In My Town" and got two hit singles "Are You Okay" and "In My Town".

Ku-J then traveled to Jamaica in 2008 after linking up with Sony Spoon owner of Son's of Spoon music record label. He then recorded a single entitled "Always in my head" on the chemistry riddim produced by Son's of spoon music and Tads records. He then traveled to Jamaica again in 2009 after linking with Shabba from Needle Point records and did his latest single "Mr. Customs Officer" in the Nubian girl riddim. The single has been getting a lot of radio play and lots of love when ever he performers it with his band.
