In the Metal Master's initial Michinoku Pro tour, he battles top Japanese Junior Heavyweight, Tiger Mask, in tournament action for the Tohoku Jr. Heavyweight title, eventually won by Dick Togo. This match takes place in Niigata, Japan in August of 2002.
