Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Salma Hayek attended the premiere of new comedy Grown Ups in New York.

Directed by Dennis Dugan, the comedy tells the story of five good childhood friends who reunite after the death of their former high school basketball coach.

Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider play the immature men in the film but not all of them preferred their childhood to their adult years.

Rob Schneider said: "My childhood was boring. I was the youngest, my parents retired by the time I was growing up, you know, if you weren't surfing there was nothing else to do when I was a kid".

Salma Hayek looks stunning as the wife of Adam Sandler and said working with the comedic actors was a blast: "They were all very, very funny.

"And you know, they know it, so they go one take, another, another, another, they don't even cut, they do one joke after another after another".

Grown Ups is released in UK cinemas on 6 August.
