Daily News & Video @ http://RevolutionNews.US -- Long Island teen charged with making threat to school... NEW YORK — Police say a 17-year-old Long Island boy threatened to go on a shooting spree at his former school on the anniversary of the Columbine High massacre.
Nathan Myres, of North Massapequa, was arraigned Saturday on a charge of making a terrorist threat.
He had been a pupil at Plainedge High School until earlier this year, when he transferred to a special needs program.
Nassau County police say they began investigating several days after a rumor began rippling through the school that an ex-pupil was planning an attack.
Detective Lt. Kevin Smith said police havent found any weapons and it is possible the youth was just trying to scare people.
Police said Myres doesnt live with his parents. His bail was set at $25,000.
