Max Ryan talks about the SATC girls

British actor Max Ryan has landed on his feet but entered a hectic world following his role in the Sex and the City 2 film.

The 43-year-old plays the love interest of feisty character Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) and said that she played a big part in him getting the role.

Max said: "I met Sam at the audition of course, because I went to New York and auditioned with Sam and she liked me and Michael (Patrick-King) liked me and that was it."

However, not everyone liked him straight away. Sarah Jessica Parker apparently looked at him not knowing who he was. Max told us he thought: "Have I done something wrong? She's a producer, she could fire me just like that".

Sex and the City 2 is out in cinemas now.
