Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho cried after knocking out his former club Chelsea out of the Champions League earlier this season.

Now, Mourinho wants to see his club boss Massimo Moratti cry tears of joy with a first European Cup success in 45 years.

He said: "The Champions League is always important and you want to win it even if you won it last year, but I imagine that for these fans it will be even more special after such a long wait."

Meanwhile, Patrick Kluivert has backed Jose Mourinho to upset mentor Louis van Gaal in the final.

"I have a slight feeling. It's not that I hope that [Inter] will win, I have no preference, but I think they will be difficult to beat."

Bayern Munich manager, Louis van Gaal, praised Jose Mourinho ahead of the final.

Speaking of the time they shared at Barcelona, he said: "He was an excellent co-trainer and deputy coach and he did an excellent job."
