Melanie finds herself broke when she celebrates getting her braces off and offers to buy her friends pizza and drinks. She's later shocked when Snake asks her to the Gourmet Scum concert and learns she has to pay $20 for her own ticker. Melanie resorts to stealing the $20 from her mom; resulting in being grounded, missing her long awaited date with Snake, and left with a concert ticket.
BLT bets Joey $20 he can't get a date by Friday night. When a vulnerable Caitlin apprehensively accepts Joey's offer, she's livid when she discovers their date was riding on $20, and shocked when Joey rips the money up and tells Caitlin he has feelings for her.
Meanwhile, Spike is upset when Shane uses his child support money to buy a Gourmet Scum ticket for himself when she was intending to go. Luckily, Melanie has a spare ticket of her own...
