Twenty years ago the first McDonald's fast-food restaurant opened its doors in the center of Moscow, then the capital of the Soviet Union. Customers practically stormed the place. Western chain restaurants have since spread across Russia, and Russians' enthusiasm for fast food appears to be boundless.
