Mock Space Travel from Earth to Mars

This is part 2 of our Astronomy Day 2007 mock mission to Mars. It shows the astronauts in orbit around the earth and then leaving the earth behind and heading to Mars. The Mars 1 crew then enters Mars orbit and makes the descent to the Martian surface aboard the 'lander' which is a nonconventional air bag method.
