Representative Tony Sertich (DFL Chisholm, MN) makes a passionate speech in support of overriding Governor Pawlenty's veto of General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC) which is health care for the poorest of the poor in Minnesota. The override vote did fail, but because Sertich switched his vote when it was apparent there would not be the needed three Republican votes to override, the measure may be brought up at a later date.
